2020 CET & Training

NEW and included in all day and evening training is our Better for Business session. This is designed to review opportunities and profitability that our GP lenses can make to your business. Other workshops provide the latest findings from research and academia, hands on experience with the most recent GP contact lenses, and showcase the modern equipment that can enhance your contact lens skills.

Courses are FREE, include up to 6 CET points, are open to everyone, and include some food and beverage!!
Spaces are limited to keep group size small. A deposit ensures your space.


Ortho-K CET Day

The Ortho-K day presents a very practical approach to Ortho-K and will leave you inspired to get fitting! In addition to covering Ortho-K theory and business integration this training will bring you up to date with current myopia control theory and review all the drug, contact lens and spectacle developments.

Topography use will be demonstrated with the Medmont Topographer giving you a practical understanding of both individual capture and tear film. You will know how to get the most out of your topographer for soft lens fitting, soft multifocal fitting, dry eye patients and of course Ortho-K and GP patients.

This training is aimed for practitioners interested in starting to fit Ortho-K and also experienced Ortho-Keratologists.


Hospital & Specialty Lens Day

This training session will introduce you to the patients encountered in hospital contact lens departments. A range of patients including paediatric aphakia, keratoconus, post-lasik, post-graft and prosthetic patients will be discussed.

You will be introduced to a range of products that will enable fitting of all degrees of irregular corneal patients.

This training is aimed at practitioners inexperienced in irregular corneal fitting and experienced fitters interested in expanding the range of lenses they are able to fit.


Corneoscleral CET Session

This training session introduces corneoscleral lenses with application on normal optometric practice. Inexperienced and experienced practitioners, in practice with or without topography will benefit from being able to fit these lenses. The workshop includes lens handling and the opportunity to wear lenses and experience the unbelievable comfort they can provide your patient.
